Diskos Legacy Data
Project from 2019-2022 funded by the Diskos-group to load well legacy data.
The goal of the project was to fill in the gaps and get more complete well datasets in Diskos.
The project consisted of two parts:
1. Scanning and loading of missing well reports in Diskos
2. Generation and loading of ASCII-files for checkshots, wellpaths conventional core analysis.
In 2019 the NPD received ExxonMobil and Aker BP’s physical partner archive (well reports) and the Diskos group funded a project to scan and load these reports to Diskos. The NPD executed the project on behalf of Diskos.
The project covers well reports mainly older than year 2000 from approx. 1800 exploration and development wellbores. The majority of the wellbores are exploration wellbores.
In addition to the scanning project, approx. 600 missing text files (ASCII) were generated and loaded for checkshot, wellpaths and conventional core analysis.
There are approx. 23 000 files/reports available from this project in Diskos.
