Upgrade: FactPages and associated services

A minor upgrade of the FactPages and changes to the fact services will be made on Wednesday 14 December. The FactPages and services may therefore become unavailable part of this day.
The major change in this upgrade is an improved overview of the follow up on Surveys, from planned to finished, sorted by date. This will be available under "Survey", "Page view" – chapter "Latest updates".
Corresponding changes will be made under "Survey", "Table view", "Last updates". The headings and tag names will be new. The new tag names are: "seaProgressNotesDate", "seaSurveyName", "seaProgressNotesKind", "seaProgressNotesDescription", "seaNpdidSurvey".
Apart from this, better help text is added when searching; additionally some links have been corrected and basic software has been upgraded.
The data type of tables in downloadable FGDB and REST services has also been changed, see factmaps 3 changelog for details.

The Norwegian Ministry of Energy has received applications from eight companies in connection with the announcement of two areas in the North Sea for potential storage of CO2 on the Norwegian shelf.
Well for data acquisition on Wisting

Equinor has completed an appraisal well (7324/7-4) on the Wisting discovery in the Barents Sea. The objective was to acquire data on the reservoir and cap rock, for use in ongoing evaluation and development of the discovery.

Oil discovery in the North Sea

Vår Energi has made an oil discovery in "Ringhorne Nord" (wells 25/8-23 S and 25/8-23 A & B), north of the Ringhorne Øst field, 200 kilometres northwest of Stavanger.
