Public journals

Pursuant to Section 6 of the Regulations to the (Norwegian) Freedom of Information Act, all government agencies are required to make their journals available to the public on the internet.

eInnsyn is a joint publishing service for these journals, where you can search for documents from government agencies and request access. Requests sent to the Norwegian Offshore Directorate via eInnsyn will be treated as petitions for access, and you will receive a reply from us.

Petitions for access can also be made via email or post. Please specify if you prefer to receive the document by e-mail or post.

Note: the petition must relate to a specific case, or cases of a specific nature, to a reasonable extent (Section 28 of the Freedom of Information Act). You must state the case and document numbers if they are available from a public journal or other source.
