Sølvberg will present facts and analyses to highlight the work being done to increase the value of the oil and gas resources on the Norwegian shelf.

– Half of the remaining resources have already been discovered. These resources are described in the report, she says.

Contributes to value creation

The NPD wants to ensure that all profitable barrels are produced – not just the easiest ones. Increased recovery from fields is an important contribution to value creation through more production from producing fields and use of existing infrastructure to develop small fields.

Among other things, the report presents an updated estimate of resources in tight reservoirs and the potential for improved recovery using advanced methods.

Location: NPD’s offices, Valhall conference room, at Ullandhaug in Stavanger.

Date: Friday, 27 September, 10.00 -11.30

The presentation will be given in Norwegian, and will be streamed live on npd.no.

Light refreshments will be served.
