Exploration seminar program finalised
9/10/2024 The Norwegian Offshore Directorate is organising an exploration seminar in Stavanger on 23-24 October. The agenda has now been announced.

The objective of the event is to highlight challenges and opportunities linked to exploration in the Barents Sea, as well as to stimulate more exploration activity in the area.
The seminar primarily targets employees working for the resource authorities, licensees and suppliers.

Resource report 2026: Without significant discoveries, production on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS) may fall steeply after 2030. Resources remain plentiful, but growth levels are too low to maintain current production levels over time.
