5/12/2020 The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate has granted Lundin Energy Norway AS a drilling permit for well 7219/11-1 cf. Section 15 of the Resource Management Regulations.

Well 7219/11-1 will be drilled from the West Bollsta drilling facility in position 72 11`46.64 N and 19 38`16.23 E.

The drilling programme for well 7219/11-1 relates to the drilling of a wildcat well in production licence 533 B. Lundin Energy Norway AS is the operator with an ownership interest of 40 per cent. The other licensees are Aker BP ASA with 35 per cent and Wintershall Dea Norge AS with 25 per cent.

The area in this licence consists of part of block 7219/11. The well will be drilled about 35 kilometres northwest of 7220/11-1, the Alta discovery.

Production licence 533 B was awarded on 2 March 2018 in APA 2017. This is the first well to be drilled in the licence.

The permit is contingent on the operator securing all other permits and consents required by other authorities prior to commencing the drilling activity.
