Torgeir Stordal
Director general of the Norwegian Offshore Directorate. He was hired as Director of exploration in 2017 and became the Director of technology, analyses and coexistence as of 2021. He has served as Director general since June 2022. Torgeir has extensive experience from Shell as a specialist and manager both in Norway and abroad. He served as exploration manager in Norway from 2009 to 2013. He holds the equivalent of a master's degree in geophysics from the University of Bergen.

Ola Anders Skauby
Director of communication, security and emergency response. He was hired in 2020 and has 12 years of experience from Equinor. Over the last three years at Equinor, he had global responsibility for personnel preparedness and security. He has held various positions within communication in Equinor, including as press spokesperson and executive vice president of communication. He has previous experience from both the supplier industry and outside the petroleum sector. He holds the equivalent of a master's degree in marketing, finance and management, as well as a Master of Management degree from BI Norwegian Business School. Parpirfly and Fabi Partner.

Kjell Agnar Dragvik
Director (Acting) of governance, finance and shared services. He was hired in 1997, and has experience as both a specialist and from various management positions at the Norwegian Offshore Directorate over several periods starting from 2004. Among other things, these positions cover responsibility for analyses, projects, following up fields, as well as strategy, governance and budgets. Kjell Agnar holds a cand.polit. (equivalent to a Master of Political Science) degree and has previously worked for Statistics Norway and the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy (now Ministry of Energy).

Kjersti Dahle
Director of offshore new ventures. She was hired as an Assistant director in 2021. Before this, she had more than 20 years of experience from Equinor, including as Director of exploration for the Norwegian and UK shelf. She has led multiple departments within exploration and specialist functions, and has held various positions within subsurface and geology throughout the value chain in Equinor. Kjersti holds the equivalent of a master's degree in geology from the University of Bergen.

Kalmar Ildstad
Director of regulations, licence and area management. He was hired in 1989 and has held multiple management positions since 2006, including within development and operations, data management and competence development. Kalmar holds a civil engineering degree from the physics department at the Norwegian Institute of Technology (now part of NTNU).

Erik Garshol
Director of improvement and digital transformation. He was hired in 2020. Erik has many years of experience from various management positions within HR and improvement in Equinor. Among other things, he has served as head of HR for the onshore plants and director of organisational efficiency. His responsibilities there included developing the group’s operating model. He holds a degree in psychology from the University of Bergen.

Hege Susanne Blåsternes
Director of Offshore development and technology. Hege was hired on 1 June 2025. She has substantial experience from the oil and gas industry, both professionally and as a manager. She comes from the role of SVP Subsurface at Vår Energi. Hege holds the equivalent of a master's degree in geophysics from the University of Bergen. She works actively to promote diversity and inclusion, and received the "Petro Lady of the Year" award for her efforts.
