Norwegian Petroleum Directorate to update quality-assured geochemical database
9/28/2023
The geochemical database will be updated twice per year with geochemical data from wells that have recently been released in Diskos.
The NPD will now make an update of the database available, including wells released in the first half of 2023.
The update contains a total of 1298 new samples from 16 wells.
Access to a quality-secured database gives all the players on the Norwegian continental shelf a good foundation for conducting geochemical evaluations as a basis for better understanding of the petroleum systems.
The database is available via the NPD's Factpages
