One company offered acreage for CO2 storage

6/13/2025 Today, Equinor Low Carbon Solution AS has been offered an exploration licence for CO2 storage in the North Sea.

The authorities have evaluated the application received following the announcement in March 2025. This is the eighth time acreage has been awarded for CO2 storage pursuant to the CO2 Storage Regulations.
