1/27/2026 If you are familiar with any type of new technology or new application of technology that you think can be presented at Technology Day, we’d love to hear from you.

The Norwegian Offshore Directorate is hosting a Technology Day on 4 June 2026, and we need suggestions for academic and/or technical content!

We want suggestions for presentations related to the topics in the Norwegian Offshore Directorate's technology strategy:

  • acquisition of subsurface data
  • challenging barrels
  • next-generation production systems

We will review all suggestions received before creating the programme for Technology Day 2026. Use the nomination form to submit suggestions. If you are unsure whether your suggestion is a good fit, we would still encourage you to submit your ideas or proposals. This will allow us to contact you and clarify the matter.

You can draw inspiration from the programme and presentations held at last year's Technology Day: Technology Day 2025 - The Norwegian Offshore Directorate

This will be our fifth consecutive annual Technology Day, an event primarily aimed at employees of resource authorities and licensees on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS). The registration form and programme will be published on the Norwegian Offshore Directorate's website in spring 2026.

Please note: The event has been fully booked in recent years, so you should mark your calendars now if you're interested - and register right away once the time comes!
