Production figures September 2021

20/10/2021 Preliminary production figures for September 2021 show an average daily production of 2 022 000 barrels of oil, NGL and condensate,

Total gas sales were 8.9 billion Sm3 (GSm3), which is a decrease of 0.5 GSm3 from the previous month.

Average daily liquids production in September was: 1 772 000 barrels of oil, 240 000 barrels of NGL and 10 000 barrels of condensate.

Oil production in August is 1.1 percent higher than the NPD’s forecast, and 0.8 percent higher than the forecast so far this year.

The total petroleum production for the first ninth months in 2021 is about 170.5 million Sm3 oil equivalents (MSm3 o.e.), broken down as follows: about 76.0 MSm3 o.e. of oil, about 11.6 MSm3 o.e. of NGL and condensate and about 82.9 MSm3 o.e. of gas for sale.

The total volume is equal to the 2020-figures.

Oil discovery in the North Sea
