Correction of historical data

8/13/2026 On Tuesday, 18 August 2026, changes will be implemented that affect the data on the FactPages and the corresponding data available through the Norwegian Offshore Directorate's data services. These changes do not affect data structures/schemas.

The changes primarily concern certain discoveries that have been associated with different fields over time. The affected data mainly relates to historical production and/or investments and costs. Until now, this data has been linked to the discovery's current field rather than the correct field for the period in question.

For the impacted discoveries, historical production and other related data will be reassigned to the field to which the discovery belonged at the relevant point in time.

Examples of affected discoveries include 25/2-4 Lille-Frigg and 25/5-1 Frøy.

In the Norwegian Offshore Directorate's data services, the affected table is profiles. This table is a source for several pages on NOD's FactPages.
